Absentee voting in person is available April 18th through May 2nd at City Hall from 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Please contact the city clerk's office (907-834-3468) for options regarding voting absentee by mail, fax, or personal representative.
Polls will be open from 7am - 8pm on Tues. May 3rd. In addition to elections for mayor, city council, and school board, the 2016 ballot will include four propositions. Those needing special or absentee voting assistance, please contact the city clerk.
Due to the May 3rd regular election, City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Wed., May 4th at 7:00pm in Council Chambers. The Council, serving as the Board of Equalization, will hold a tax appeal hearing immediately before the regular meeting.
