Absentee voting in person for the November election is now available at City Hall. Registered voters who cannot make it to the polls on election day may vote absentee in person Oct. 24th thru Nov. 7th from 8:30 am. to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
FEMA has presented the City with preliminary copies of the updated flood insurance rate map (FIRM) and the flood insurance study (FIS). Digital copies are available for public review online. FEMA will be scheduling a public meeting/workshop in early 2017.
Valdez Flu Shot Clinic will be held Sat., Oct 29th from 1-3pm @ the Civic Center. The annual event, sponsored by Providence Valdez Medical Center, Valdez LEPC, State of Alaska DH&SS, and the City, provides flu shots to the community free of charge.
