Monday afternoon (close at noon) December 24th and all day Tuesday, December 25, 2012 the City of Valdez will observe the Christmas Holiday. Select services and facilities will be closed for the holiday.

The following locations will be closed for the holiday: 

• City Hall: City Hall Front Office, Community Development and all other City Hall administration offices will be closed. 
• Animal Shelter will be closed. 
• Baler Facility will be closed. There will be no trash-pick. 
• Harbor office will be closed.
• Parks & Recreation and Civic Center Main Office will be closed.
• Teen Center will be closed.
• Valdez Consortium Library will be closed.
• Valdez Swimming Pool will be closed.

The following services will be open: 

• City Hall: Police & Fire will remain open.
• Open for any pre-scheduled events at the Civic Center and Cinema. Check the Civic Center Cinema calendar to see if a movie is scheduled.

Regular office hours will resume on Wednesday, December 26th.
